All-Star Invitational

Dear Friends,

The Chicago Baseball Cancer Charities would like to extend its heartfelt thanks to all our donors and friends for ensuring the success of the 38th Annual All-Star Invitational Golf Outing.

Since our founding in 1970, the CBCC has raised more than $13.2 million in support of cancer research, education and patient care programs at Northwester Memorial Hospital, Children's Memorial Hospital and One Step at a Time. These significant funds have enabled the cancer programs at both hospitals to strengthen and expand, which benefits countless patients and their families.

Our great strides in the fight against cancer have been made possible because of the longstanding support and generosity of our sponsors, patrons and celebrities. It is through their time, talent and commitment that the CBCC is able to continue to contribute to the fight against this devastating disease.

I would like to extend a special thanks to the committee chairman and all the members of the CBCC for their tireless hard work and dedication in support of our efforts to find a cure for cancer.

The assistance we have received from the development staffs of both Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Children's Memorial Hospital should be recognized and commended. On behalf of the Board, we are grateful for your support.

I also would like to acknowledge the support of the Chicago White Sox, the McGraw Foundation, Indiana Sports Charities, Windy City Sox Fans and BlueCross Blue Shield of Illinois to name a few, among our many staunch supporters. The hard work and longstanding dedicaton of these organizations, in conjunction with our Board, guarantees that we will be able to provide the necessary funds for research in our surrounding areas.

A testimony of our success is exhibited through the truly appreciated generosity of the All-Star Invitational patrons, sponsors and celebrities. My personal and genuine thank you for being living proof that "We're all in this together."
