Baseball Cancer Charities
The CBCC is a volunteer organization
started by Marv Samuel which continues today under the leadership of
Billy Pierce. It is comprised of former and current professional athletes,
members of the Chicago sports media and the corporate community. Since
its inception in 1971, the Charities has raised over $11 million for
cancer patient care, education and research programs at Northwestern
Memorial Hospital and Children's Memorial Hospital.
The CBCC wished to thank the people and companies who have helped make
the 38th Annual All Star Invitational a success
