Chicago Baseball Cancer Charities

Founded by Marv Samuel, CBCC is a volunteer organization comprised of former and current professional athletes, members of the Chicago sports media and the corporate community. Since its inception in 1970, the Charities have raised more than $12.4 million for cancer patient care, education and research programs at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Children's Memorial Hospital. CBCC also supports Camp One Step at a Time, a program that provides educational, social and physical development services to children with cancer, regardless of their ability to pay.
